President al-Alimi discusses relations with Sudanese counterpart

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi has discussed with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan Major General Abdulfattah al-Burhan relations between the two countries and means of promoting them in different fields.

President al-Alimi expressed heartfelt congratulations to President al-Burhan on the independence days of Sudan and the new year, hoping him full health and happiness and prosperity and progress to the Sudani people.

In a telephone call with President al-Burhan on Tuesday, President al-Alimi praised the honorable role of Sudanese people and their armed forces within the Arab Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy in Yemen and support to Yemeni people and their political leadership for regaining the state institutions and ending Houthi terrorist militia's coup.

He confirmed keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council and government's keenness on promoting mutual relations with the Republic of Sudan and promoting them into strategic partnership in all fields.

For his part, the President of Sudanese Sovereignty Council al-Burhan renewed support of Sudan to Yemeni legitimacy and helping its leadership and people in all fields, praising deep-rooted relations between Sudan and Yemen.
