The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada conferred today, Thursday, via video call, with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Catherine Corm Kammoun over the ongoing military escalation by the Iranian regime-allied Houthi terrorist militias and their consequences on the humanitarian and economic situation.
The conversations covered recent Houthi ballistic missiles and drones attacks in military sites, civilian infrastructure and economic facilities.
They government efforts to establish security and stability, tackle current challenges were also discussed.
Al-Aradah called on the international community to take a clear stance against the Houthi attacks , stressing that continuing to overlook these actions encourages the militias to keep undermining the security of Yemen and the region.
The member of the PLC highlighted the importance of the French and European role in supporting political, economic and humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
The French Ambassador confirmed her country's support for the security and stability of Yemen and the region.
