RIYADH-SABA
Turki Ahmed Mazhar Bin Qumsha took the constitutional oath today, Thursday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) on his appointment as the Governor of Saada governorate.

Following the ceremonies, the President conferred with the new governor over his national responsibility and tasks in one of the country’s most important governorates, whose people lead the way in bravery in resisting the Iranian project, restoring state institutions and defending human dignity.

The President urged the governor to open communication channels with all social constituents, maintain close ties with the tribal leaders, national figures, youth, women and prepare for restoring state institutions.

The President praised the brave stances of the people of Saada, their honorable national roles and their significant sacrifices in defending the republican system.

The tribes of Saada have historically been a safeguard for the Yemeni state, not a source of threat, racism or monopolization of power, al-Alimi remarked..

The Chairman of the PLC reaffirmed that the state's hand is extended to everybody, every sheikh, young man and woman, and to everybody looking to put an end of this tragedy.

He stated that the state has a clear vision for rebuilding Saada, opening roads, building services and institutions.
