His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met today, Saturday, with the Chairman of the Consultations and Conciliation Authority (CCA) Mohammed al-Ghaithi and his Deputies Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi, Sakher al-Wajeeh, Jamilla Ali Raja and Akram al-Amery.
The discussions covered the topical issues in the national arena and the required efforts to boost the government's ongoing reforms program in coordination with the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) and the concerned authorities.
The President made it crystal clear that the comprehensive reforms will remain a pressing necessity to strengthen the legitimacy of the state and to ensure the follow of the economic, humanitarian and development aids.
His Excellency underlined the important role of the CCA in enhancing the reforms program and to sustain the government's efforts aimed to get the reforms done.
The consultations also touched on the CCA's action-plan in the upcoming period and requirements to activate its role in backing the PLC and the efforts to boost the national consensus that is based on the national unity and the desirable partnership at various levels.
The President restated that the CCA has a significant role to play in supporting the PLC and establishing the values of partnership, collective accountability and backing the existing agreements in accordance with the Declaration of Power Transfer and the references of the transitional stage.
His Excellency underscored the need for a united discourse to strengthen the notion of the national coherence and get it unified toward the big battle for eliminating the Iranian regime coup and regain the State's institutions.
The Chairman of the PLC updated the headship of the CCA on the ongoing efforts to normalize the situations in Hadramout governorate and to meet the legitimate demands of the fellow citizens in Hadramout to their fair share in development and representation.
He also touched on the crime of the assassination of the General Director of the Fund of Unbanning and Cleaning in Taiz governorate Eftihan al-Mashari. He stated that the security services are obliged to arrest the criminals and bring them to justice.
