The Iranian-backed Houthi militia fired a ballistic missile at a restaurant in the Mokha Junction area west of Taiz on Friday, causing civilian casualties and extensive damage to the restaurant and nearby property.

Local sources told Saba that the missile struck the restaurant, which is frequented by civilians. Emergency teams began treating the injured and assessing the damage.

The attack comes amid continued Houthi military escalation across Taiz, including missile attacks on Mokha and other areas along the West Coast, targeting civilian facilities and property.
