His Excellency President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, the President of the Republic of Djibouti, received today, Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Afrah al-Zouba, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Djibouti.

President Guelleh reiterated the Republic of Djibouti's stance in support of Yemen's unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

He confirmed his country's keenness to continue developing bilateral relations and boosting cooperation and coordination between the two countries in different fields.

Al-Zouba briefed the Djiboutian President on the developments in Yemen amid the ongoing escalation by the terrorist Houthi militias and their attacks on the seaports, maritime shipping lanes and water passages.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs expressed the Republic of Yemen's appreciation for the supportive positions of the Republic of Djibouti towards Yemen, deeply appreciating its facilitations and cooperation with the Yemeni community in Djibouti.
