ADEN - SABA
The Presidential Leadership Council held a meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, and attended by members Aidrous al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh, Othman Mujalli and Faraj al-Bahsani, while Council members Sultan al-Arada, Abdulrahman al-Muhramia and Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi were absent with an excuse.

The Presidential Leadership Council, via video conference, discussed the latest developments in the economic, living, and military situations in light of the continued threats of the terrorist Houthi militias and their grave violations of human rights, as well as the repercussions of their terrorist attacks on oil facilities and global commercial vessels.

The Council reiterated its support for the economic and service reforms led by the government to improve living conditions and strengthen the national currency, in close coordination with regional and international partners.

The Council praised the economic and development interventions by the brothers in the Saudi-led Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, and the state's continued fulfillment of its essential obligations, led by paying employee salaries, supply of basic goods, and provision of essential services.

The Council was briefed on the military position of the armed forces in all their formations and their high readiness to deter any escalation by the Houthi militias on various fronts and axes.

The Council commended the high alert demonstrated by the armed forces and all military formations in confronting the attacks of the terrorist militias and thwarting their repeated attempts to return the situation to the square of the war, without regard for the prolonged suffering of the Yemeni people.
