Minister of Planning Seeks Further Yemeni-French Cooperation

RIYADH - SABA
The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Mohammed al-Faqmi and the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun conferred over Yemeni-French bilateral relations and cooperation.

The French support for education, health, food security and capacity building was key focus of the conversations.
Al-Faqmi expressed gratitude to French government for its contribution to the humanitarian and development actions in education, health and food security. " French support was helpful and greatly valued", he said.

The Minister sought for more partnership and active cooperation with France in the future, saying "We're looking forward to further increase the Yemeni-French partnership and cooperation in the upcoming stage to sustain the government's efforts aimed to achieve the economic recovery".

Al-Faqmi highly praised the significant efforts made by the Ambassador Kammoun during her tenure to further promote the Yemeni-French bilateral relations and cooperation.

The French Ambassador stated that her government is going to continue its support for Yemen.
