Presidential Leadership Council reviews national, regional developments

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting Today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and via video conference Tariq Saleh and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami, while Council members Sultan al-Aradah and Faraj al-Bahsani were absent with excuse.

Under-Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ambassador Aousan Abdullah al-Aoud held talks today, Thursday, in Ankara with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim over issues relating to the Yemeni community in Turkey.

The discussions covered range of issues including visas for the Yemeni nationals who wants to visit turkey, residence permission for the families and individuals in Turkey, the problems of the Yemenis who have been detained and trapped in Turkey.

Al-Aoud deeply appreciated the Turkish government's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people amid current tough circumstances due to Houthi militias' coup.

The Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed his country's support for the Republic of Yemen. He stated that the Turkish government is willing to cooperate with Yemen about the visa and residence permission for the Yemeni citizens.
