Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba arrived in the Qatari capital Doha on Friday, coming from Manama, the second stop of her Gulf tour.
She is carrying a written message from President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
The visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and to hold consultations and coordination on the latest developments in Yemen and the region, as well as issues of mutual interest. It will also focus on expanding cooperation in development, humanitarian affairs, and capacity building.
During her visit, Minister al-Zouba is scheduled to meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
She will also meet with Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Fahad bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development.
