Yemeni naval forces on Wednesday evening seized a boat in the Red Sea carrying equipment used to manufacture drones, which had been smuggled by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and was bound for the Houthi terrorist militia.

Hours after seizing the boat, the naval forces also foiled a maritime attack by the Houthi militia.

The National Resistance Forces’ Military Media Centre said naval patrols spotted five Houthi boats attempting to approach liberated islands overlooking the international shipping route in the Red Sea. The patrols engaged the boats, forcing them to flee north towards the coast of Hodeidah.

The naval forces also shot down a drone while it was conducting a reconnaissance operation ahead of the Houthi boats’ movement.
