RABAT - SABA
Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Brakani held talks today, Monday, here in Rabat with the President of the House of Moroccan Councilors Naan Miyara within his current state-visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The conversations dealt with bilateral cooperation between the Yemeni parliament and the House of Moroccan Councilors.
Al-Brakani presented a detailed presentation about the situations in Yemen amid the Terrorist Houthi militias' coup, citing a long list of the militias' violations of human rights and freedoms.
He blamed the Iranian regime for backing the Terrorist Houthi militias, providing them with ballistic missiles and drones to attack the civilians and the oil facilities and seaports.
He also noted that the Houthi militias has imposed the so-called the "Document of the Occupational Code of Conduct" to replace the constitution and law. He said" We're facing a disaster but we're determined to overcome, regain the Republican ruling, democracy and unity".
The President of the House of the Moroccan Councilors confirmed his country's support for Yemen to maintain its unity, territorial integrity and reinstate the official authority.
He also affirmed their rejection to the Iranian interventions in Yemen's national affairs through supporting the Houthi militias.
