Yemen’s Information Minister has condemned the Houthi terror attack that killed one civilian and injured five others in Taiz and condemned the “disgraceful international silence” for the Houthi six year aggression on the central Yemen city.
Muammar al-Eryani said the Houthi bombardment of the Faculty of Literature and an amusement park in the city, which killed one civilian and injured five others, is “one in a series of systematic attacks the Houthi militia launches against civilians and civilian properties … to take revenge from Taiz” for supporting the government. a repressive six year long siege and systematic starvation policy against the city amidst a disgraceful international silence.”
Al-Eryani demanded the international community, the UN and the UN Special Envoy “to condemn these deliberate murder crimes that the militia keeps committing against civilians.” He called for prosecuting the militia’s leaders as war criminals in the International Criminal Court.
