Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani received a written message from Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed to His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.

The message was delivered during a meeting between Dr. Zindani and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Yemen, Shao Zheng.

The meeting reviewed the trajectory of Yemeni-Chinese relations and prospects for their further development, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.

Dr. Zindani reaffirmed Yemen’s pride in its longstanding historical ties with China, which are founded on cooperation and mutual understanding.
