The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr met today with members and leaders of the General People's Congress (GPC) party in the province of Socotra archipelago, in the presence of Governor Ramzi Mahrous.
Bin-Daghrpraised the member countries of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for their response to the Yemeni request of help against the rebel militia.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of national unity, rejecting all what harms the country's leadership and national sovereignty, and calling for taking a unified position on national matters.
He pointed out that the members of the GPC have a great responsibility to unify their ranks , especially in light of the extraordinary circumstances that Yemen is going through; the Houthi coup and insurgency that have sabotaged the political transformation.
