Marib Governorate saw the launch of the “My City More Beautiful” project and a comprehensive official and popular community cleaning campaign, and the last Monday of every month was declared the day of a wide community cleaning campaign, in celebration of the National Cleanliness Day, which falls on December 12 of each year.
The project, which is implemented by the Governorate's Cleaning and Improvement Fund, aims to enhance community participation and behavior modification to maintain the cleanliness of the governorate's cities and create a clean, healthy and safe environment free of solid waste in the neighborhoods and streets of the governorate capital and its cities.
Today, a large-scale cleaning campaign was launched with the participation of the governorate leadership, government offices in the governorate capital, directorates and social components Youth initiatives and community committees.
