CBY Governor discusses capacity building efforts with IMF
The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb discussed today , Friday, with the Head of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Jihad al-Wazir the technical assistance provided by the Fund to build capacity in aspects of external reserves and foreign exchange management.

Three thousand tons of fuel arrived Aden for operating President's power plant

ADEN-SABA
A shipment of 3 thousand tons of fuel arrived Monday Oil Port in Aden coming from Nushima Port in Shabwa for trail operation of President of the Republic Power Plant as the first phase.
The plant will generate 264 MW of power in its first phase and will be linked to electricity network for improving power service in Aden and nearby areas.
The shipment comes within efforts of President Hadi and leadership of ministry of electricity for accomplishing the plant's project, which will generate in its second phase 500 MW of power.
