The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Bajjash praises Chinese medical support to Yemen

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash discussed Wednesday with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yang cooperation relation between the two countries and coordination of the two countries' positions in international forums for serving common interests.

Bajjah reviewed situations development in Yemen, especially Houthi militia's violations against Yemeni people and their rejection to peace calls, praising Chinese support to peace efforts and Chinese position supporting Yemen, its unity, security and stability.

He praised Chinese support to Yemen's health sector for fighting corona pandemic and limiting its spread.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat reconfirmed his country's support to Yemen, its unity and stability and for finding political and peaceful solution to Yemeni issue on the bases of the GCC Initiative, National Dialogue Conference's outcomes and UN related resolutions.
