Ambassador al-Ashbi Meets Pakistani Foreign Ministry Official for Middle East Affairs

Yemen's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammed al-Ashbi, met on Monday with Pakistan's Additional Foreign Secretary for the Middle East, Zahid Hussain.

During the meeting, Ambassador al-Ashbi highlighted Iran's repeated violations of Yemen's airspace and territory, describing them as a flagrant breach of Yemen's sovereignty.

He reaffirmed the Yemeni government's strong condemnation of these violations, stressing that they constitute a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, threaten security and stability in Yemen and the wider region, and undermine ongoing peace efforts.

Ambassador al-Ashbi emphasized that the Yemeni government reserves its full right to take all legitimate measures to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, warning that the continued violations pose a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.
