Minister of State for Women's Affairs Dr. Ahd Jaasous stressed the importance of unifying national efforts and developing an institutional framework to advance women's empowerment in line with the government's policy of integrating women across all areas of national development.

She made the remarks during a meeting in the interim capital, Aden, with Chairperson of the National Women's Committee Dr. Shafiqa Saeed to discuss strengthening women's participation in the reform of the state's civil service structure and ensuring their fair representation in senior and leadership positions across state institutions and local authorities.

The meeting also addressed the need to coordinate the interventions of donors and development partners through the establishment of a central coordination unit to identify priorities, direct support in line with national needs, and prevent duplication of efforts.
