The Republic of Yemen has denounced the terrorist attack that struck a café in the vicinity of the Palace of Justice in Syria's capital, Damascus, leaving a number of people dead and injured.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Yemen's principled stance against terrorism in all its forms, stressing that no motive or justification can legitimize such acts of violence. The ministry also reaffirmed the country's support for the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic in its efforts to safeguard national security and preserve stability.

The statement conveyed Yemen's heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in the attack and expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
