The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Minister of Finance Salim bin Boreik along with Chair of the board of directors of the Public Yemeni Bank Dr MohammedHalboob inaugurated Saturday the Arwa branch of the Public Yemeni Bank in the interim capital Aden.
Another branch of the bank also was inaugurated in Lahj governorate.
The inauguration of two branches of the bank is coincided with the celebrating the 50th anniversary, Golden Jubilee, of the establishing the Public Yemeni Bank.
The Finance Minister highly praised the significant role of this financial institution in the contribution to the national economy.
