Chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Coalition of Political Parties and Components Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr and council members discussed with Japan's Ambassador to Yemen Yoneichi Nakashima in Thursday ways to enhance cooperation and support efforts to confront the humanitarian and economic challenges faced by the Yemeni people due to the practices of the Houthi terrorist militia.

MSF-Holland reveals interest to open office in IDPs safe haven – Marib

MSF-Holland has revealed its interest in opening a branch office in Yemen's safe haven for IDPS, the province of Marib.

In a visit to the province and meeting with its Deputy Governor Abd-Rabbu Miftah, an MSF-Holland team said the organization is interested to open an office and launch health aid programs within the coming four months.

They organization will launch mobile clinics for offering child and maternal healthcare services in IDP camps and assist rural health projects in coordination with Yemen's Health Ministry.

Miftah welcomed the overture, saying the local authorities will offer all the facilitations needed for the organization's mission to succeed.

He reviewed the challenges the eastern Yemen province has been enduring since the influx of refugees began five years ago and the stress on health, education and other services Marib has grappled with.
