PM, Shabwa Governor discuss repercussions of recent events

Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik discussed with the Governor of Shabwa Mohammed Saleh bin Edeiw the steps taken by the leadership of the local authority to address the effects of the recent turmoil in the province and the achievements made since the government's assertion of control.
Separatists sought to take the province in late August but government forces with popular backing drove them out.
They reviewed the efforts to re-normalize life in the city since the Prime Minister's latest visit to the eastern Yemen province. The governor briefed the premier on the health and other services and developmental projects being carried out.
They also discussed the integration of the Shabwni Elite forces into the army as per the directives of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
