Marib Deputy Governor Dr. Abdrabuh Miftah was briefed on Tuesday on the humanitarian interventions carried out by Islamic Relief France in Yemen and its planned projects in Marib province.

This came during his meeting in his office with Islamic Relief France Yemen Programs Coordinator Morgen Villoen, where the two sides reviewed the organization’s ongoing activities and future plans in the province.

The meeting also discussed the humanitarian situation in Marib and the growing needs amid the continuous daily influx of internally displaced persons (IDPs).

It further addressed emergency interventions implemented by the organization to support newly displaced families identified through displacement tracking mechanisms coordinated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), including the provision of unconditional cash assistance.
