Yemen participates in ESCWA's 30th ministerial meeting in Beirut

A delegation headed by Minister of Planning and International Training Dr Mohammed Assa'adi took part in the opening session of the 30th ministerial meeting of ESCWA. The function held in the HQ of ESCWA organization in the Lebanese capital Beirut, with the presence of the Lebanese President Michael Aown and Arab League Secretary General Dr Ahmed Abu Al-Gheit.
On the sidelines of the meetings, Dr Assa'adi contributed to Round Table's debates about " Technology for Sustainable Development in Arab Region". He provided a brief presentation about economic situation in Yemen prior the war that Houthi militia triggered and during war time.
In his debate, Dr Assa'adi highlighted the significant role of technology in creating job-opportunities for youths and exploring creative solutions to sustainable development.
