The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Governor of Mahra province Rajeh Bakreit discussed with members of the UN Humanitarian Coordinator office issues related to the activities of the international donor organizations in the province and how to make optimal use of their humanitarian support.
The Governor briefed them on the needs of the province; food and medical aid and services to meet the needs of large numbers of people internally displaced into the province as a result of the ongoing conflict in some parts of the country.
