Armed Forces Inflict Heavy Losses on Houthi Militias in Taiz Fronts
[25/08/2026 01:41]
TAIZ-SABA

Yemeni Armed Forces in the Taiz Military Axis inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the Houthi terrorist militia during fierce clashes on several fronts over the past hours.

September Net quoted military sources as saying that forces in the Taiz Military Axis engaged in intense clashes with the Houthi militia on the Kalabah front, northeast of Taiz city.

Heavy fighting was also reported on the Kareefat front, east of the city, coinciding with similar clashes on the northern front.

The sources said the clashes erupted after the Yemeni Armed Forces repelled Houthi attacks and infiltration attempts across several combat axes in Taiz, resulting in losses among the militia's ranks.

Meanwhile, on Monday evening, forces in the Taiz Military Axis targeted a Houthi military vehicle on the Al-Aqroud front, south of the governorate, destroying the vehicle and killing the militants aboard.

The sources said forces deployed across the various fronts remain on the highest level of readiness to respond to any escalation or hostile movements by the Houthi militia. They added that the deployed units are closely monitoring militia movements and responding in accordance with developments on the ground.
