Yemen, WB discuss private sector's support

Cairo, (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Commerce Mohammad al-Maitami discussed Wednesday with World Bank's Regional Representative in Yemen along with WB's senior economist support to Yemeni private sector and enhancing its role in social immunity, reconstruction and recovering economy.

The meeting dealt with the ministry's plans for carrying out a meeting in the end of this month with all Yemeni private sector's leaders across the world to discuss means and active ways to include the sector in emergent and postponed efforts.

The meeting also tackled quick means to lift Yemen from the list of high risk countries listed by Middle East and North Africa's Financial Business Group.
