Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Mohammed Bamqa met today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

They discussed ways to further promote Yemen-German bilateral cooperation in energy and economic fields. They also explored investment opportunities in the gas sector.

The talks covered the ongoing technical and administrative measures for resuming exports, the operational readiness of fields and ports and measures to secure vital facilities, as well as investment prospects in the gas sector to develop energy infrastructure.

The German Ambassador confirms Berlin's keenness to support the government's efforts to achieve economic stability and to strengthen bilateral partnership.
