CAIRO - SABA
The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that struck a café near the Palace of Justice in the Syrian capital, Damascus, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Arab Parliament expressed its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in the wake of the attack, reaffirming its firm rejection of all acts of terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability and terrorizing innocent civilians.
The statement stressed that terrorism remains a grave threat requiring coordinated Arab, regional, and international efforts to eliminate its sources, cut off its financing, and confront those who support it, as part of broader efforts to strengthen security and stability.
The Arab Parliament also extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the Syrian Arab Republic and the families of the victims, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
