Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority Mohammed al-Ghaithi met Sunday with the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen Yoichi Nakashima.
The two parties discussed the latest political, economic, and humanitarian developments, as well as efforts to support stability, peace, and development.
Al-Ghaithi emphasized the importance of restoring and activating state institutions, and supporting the efforts of the government and the Presidential Leadership Council in carrying out their responsibilities to improve economic and service conditions and enhance stability.
He also stressed the importance of ensuring the success of the Southern Dialogue process hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, initiated at the invitation of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, as a framework for consensus aimed at resolving the Southern Issue in accordance with what is agreed upon responsibly by the people of the southern governorates, in a way that promotes stability and achieves peace.
He renewed his emphasis on the importance of unifying ranks and strengthening national alignment to confront the project of the Houthi terrorist group and the serious threat it poses to security and stability in our country and the region.
