Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqtari, held discussions in Aden today with a delegation from the World Bank led by the Bank’s Senior Agricultural Specialist, Manivannan Pathy, to review ongoing and upcoming interventions in Yemen’s agricultural sector.

Al-Mikhlafi discusses with Saudi Program projects in Taiz

Deputy Governor of Taiz Dr. Abdulqawi al-Mikhlafi discussed Wednesday with the delegation of the Saudi Program for Yemen's Development and Reconstruction headed by Deputy Director of the Program in Aden Mohammed Al Yahya the government's program's projects in Taiz and the province needs of service and developmental projects.
During the meeting, al-Mikhlafi praised the big role of the Saudi Program in supporting a number of sustainable projects, led by Hygat al-Abd Road and study of establishing a power plant of 30-MW, as well as adopting the construction of college of medicine, cancer center and a number of schools in the province.
After the meeting, the delegation along with al-Mikhlafi visited the project of al-Wahdah School in Jabal Hashi district. The two-story school has 12 classrooms, applied labs, stadium and other facilities.
