President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has praised the role of Taizi people and their field contribution and struggle against Houthi rebel militia in different warfronts and deterring the militia's attempts of besieging Taiz by different criminal means.
He confirmed that Taiz made sacrifices from its noble people in their struggle against Houthi militia to break the siege imposed by the militia on the city and the province.
In his meeting with Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan on Saturday, President Hadi confirmed significance of unifying state and popular efforts for finalizing liberation of the province from Houthi militia and activating state institutions.
All must work as a team for providing services to Taizi people, who have been suffering for long time over Houthi militia war, said president, urging all to overcome differences and political and regional interests and keeping the interest of Taiz above all other interests.
For his part, Shamsan reviewed efforts exerted for normalizing life and correcting mistakes resulted from Houthi militia's war on Taiz, confirming that the local authority in Taiz worked on activating state institutions.
He pointed out to mechanisms and efforts needed for overcoming current challenges in Taiz and unifying national front.
