Al-Barakani briefed al-Salami on the latest developments relating to the situations in Yemen, citing the government's efforts to reinstate the state's institutions including underway efforts to resume the parliament's sessions and its monitoring role.
Al-Barakani praised supportive stances by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in supporting the legitimate Yemeni leadership and government.
For his part, al-Salami reiterated Arab Parliament's support for the Yemeni people and political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi in countering Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup and destructive schemes.
