Yemen participates in WB spring meetings in Washington

Yemen has participated in the spring meetings of the World Bank in Washington represented by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najeeb Al-Awj .
In a speech Al-Awj affirmed the importance of the role of the WB in supporting the track of development in Yemen.
He called for not limiting interest to humanitarian projects in Yemen but including infrastructure and developmental projects too. This way, he said, more jobs will be created and lesser young people will be free to be sucked into the orbit of armed conflicts.
