Yemen's Ambassador to the United States, Jamila Rajaa, met with Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa, Senator Dave McCormick, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and review regional developments of mutual concern.

The meeting included an exchange of views on the challenges facing the region and the importance of continuing efforts to promote security, stability, and peace in support of broader regional stability.

The two sides also discussed opportunities to expand economic and development cooperation between the two friendly countries and explored ways to build on the existing partnership in a manner that serves the shared interests of their peoples.
Both parties underscored the importance of continued engagement and cooperation in addressing regional challenges and advancing common objectives.
