Socotra dep. governor meets implementing agency of WFP aid

The Deputy Governor of Socotra province Raed al-Joreibi met today with the implementing agency of the World Food Program's emergency aid in the archipelago, the Humanitarian Assistance Organization (HAO).
The meeting reviewed HAO's exerted efforts since the cyclone "Mekunu" hit the province last month.
Al-Joreibi praised the efforts of HAO and the assistance provided by the WFP in alleviating the suffering of people. He pointed out that the continuous presence of international organizations in Socotra reflects its interest in the province which is experiencing a sense of security and is working to regain normalcy in the aftermath of the devastating cyclone.
