The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr has called for an active action on the ground to deliver aid to IDPs.
In a meeting with the chief of the Unit for Management of IDP Camps, Najeeb Assadi, in Riyadh on Wednesday, bin-Daghr highlighted the importance of maintaining full coordination with the local and international organizations involved in aiding the internally displaced.
He said the Government has smoothed the difficulties for the aid organizations in Yemen to do their job toward all the IDPs in Yemen, without any form of bias.
