The Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) in Aden has announced the launch of two auctions for government debt instruments. The auctions will feature long-term treasury bonds with a maturity period of 3 years and short-term treasury bills with a maturity period of 1 year.
According to the CBY's announcement, bids will be accepted on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The initial total value of the long-term auction is set at YR 10 billion, while the short-term auction is valued at YR 500 million, both subject to increase as needed.
