Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, has sent a cable of condolences to his counterpart, Sudanese President General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan.
The cable expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the President, the families of the victims, and the Sudanese people over the devastating landslide that occurred in Jebel Marra in western Sudan, resulting in a heavy toll of deaths and missing persons.
The President prayed for the souls of the victims to rest in peace, for the injured to recover soon, and for the safe return of the missing.
