Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen, Jeannette Seppen the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Minister Zindani praised the positive role played by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Yemen, appreciating its qualitative interventions that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Foreign Minister also reviewed the latest developments in the political, economic, and humanitarian situations in the country, the economic reforms being undertaken by the government, the implementation of the economic recovery program, and the stabilization of the local currency.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has begun implementing important reforms, relocating its work permanently to Aden, activating its various departments, addressing the issues of its personnel, and finding sustainable solutions for the diplomatic staff both domestically and abroad despite limited resources.
For her part, the Dutch Ambassador affirmed her country's commitment to continuing support for Yemen in various fields, enhancing the bonds of cooperation between the two countries, and supporting the aspirations of the Yemeni people towards peace and stability.
