The Presidential Leadership Council, led by President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, met with Prime Minister Salem Bin Breik to discuss the current economic and service challenges facing Yemen.
The council congratulated the new prime minister on gaining confidence and expressed confidence in his government's ability to work together to overcome challenges.
The council emphasized the importance of regular government operations, addressing citizen concerns, and implementing institutional reforms.
The prime minister outlined his government's priorities, particularly in the economic and service sectors.
The council also discussed the ongoing humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by Houthi militia attacks on oil facilities and international shipping lanes.
