Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani visited today, Saturday, the H.Q. of the Messila Petroleum Exploration and Production Company (PetroMasila) to inspect the company's actions and businesses.

He convened a meeting with the company's leadership aimed to discuss topical issues relating to the company's ongoing field operations in bloc 14 of PetroMasila.

He also toured the company's facilities to get first-hand information about the progress realized in several fields, most important is the recent initial operation of the heavy fuel oil refining unit (diesel).

The company has already managed to produce experimental quantities with high specifications estimated at 10 thousand barrels per day, with a storage capacity of 50 thousand barrels.

The Member of the PLC praised the significant contribution of PetroMasila to the national economy and its key role in providing the electricity stations in Hadramout governorate with subsidized fuels.
