Minister Buhybeh discusses pandemic situation with Health Sector Partners

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhybeh chaired Wednesday an extensive meeting with partners in the health sector (the cluster).
During the meeting, the current epidemiological situation in the country was reviewed, along with the various measures and interventions by the Ministry of Health to address the changes in the health situation, future prospects for addressing any developments in the health status, and the contributions and roles of partners in this context.
The discussion also covered interventions from international and local organizations and the mapping of these interventions.
The Minister of Health emphasized the need to enhance coordination at the highest levels between the ministry and its partners, pointing out to the importance of adopting sound planning in distributing interventions according to the needs of the Ministry of Health and areas of need based on the realities on the ground.
He stressed the necessity of working as a unified team to overcome any obstacles they may face in the field.
