The National Museum of History (NMH) marks the 130th anniversary of Tsar Boris III's birth with an exhibition, titled Tsar Boris III: the Man and the Statesman, which will open on October 3, 2024, in the museum's central lobby, the organisers said here on Wednesday.
The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that Tsar Boris III ruled during a time of intense political and social conflict, following two national catastrophes, lost national ideals, and a global economic crisis. He managed to stabilize the country, implemented a careful foreign policy, and was crucial in the return of Southern Dobrudzha to Bulgaria in the autumn of 1940.
