Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Brigadier General Tariq Saleh discussed today, Saturday, with the Charged' Affairs of the Russian Federation embassy in the Republic of Yemen Yevgini Kordrov the developments in the Yemeni national scene and regional and international efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen.

The conversations, which held via video conference, touched upon the Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on the commercial ships in the Red Sea and the catastrophic repercussions of these actions upon the Yemeni people.

Brig. Sakeh highly praised Yemeni-Russian historic relations, appreciating Russian support for the Yemeni people though several decades.

He stated that the Terrorist Houthi militias have capitalized on the Palestinian cause to escape the peace process in Yemen.

The PLC's member has confirmed the Yemeni study support for the Palestinian people against the Israeli genocides and war crimes.

The Russian diplomat reiterated his country's rejection of the threats to the international navigations and shipping lanes in the Red Sea.
