ADEN - SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mua'mar al-Eryani has said the first ceremony of exiling six of Baha'i group among them the leader of the sect because of their religious faiths by Iran-backed Houthi militia reflects the militia's aggressive approach against minorities and religious freedoms.
" Members of the Baha'i sect have been subjected to organized terrorism by Houthi militia, storming houses, looting funds and possessions, execution verdicts, closure of their offices and charities, depriving of political and humanitarian rights and recently forcibly displacement," said al-Eryani on Monday, marking the first ceremony of exiling Baha'is.
He called upon the international community and human rights organization to double pressure on Houthi militia to stop all forms of cracking down on and annoying religious minorities among them Baha'is and to ensure their return (to Yemen) and giving them back their funds and possessions.
