The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba reiterated Yemen's Ironclad support for the Palestinian people in their legitmate struggle for establishing their own independent statehood, saying " The Palestinian issue for Yemenis is not a momentary political attitude or a slogan influenced by events, but a matter of legitimate rights and justice deeply rooted in their consciousness and national conscience".
Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause has remained consistent through various stages and circumstances, al-Zouba stressed.
She voiced her comment during her talks today, Monday, with the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Fawziya Shahin, on the sidelines of the 166th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level.
Al-Zouba's talks with Shahi addressed the bilateral relations cooperation and coordination between the two countries, developments in the Palestinian issue, the situation in Gaza, the West Bank, and al-Quds as well as the ongoing Israeli violations and atrocities against the Palestinian people.
