Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba held talks Today, with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif al-Zayani on the bilateral relations and cooperation.

The two Ministers underscored the importance of continuing direct coordination between the two Foreign Ministries and expanding areas of economic, trade and developmental cooperation to serve common interests and develop joint Arab action.

They also discussed cooperation in capacity building and diplomatic training. Al-Zouba sought for benefiting from Bahrain's experience in digital transformation and institutional development.

Additionally the talks covered a number of issues related to the Yemeni community, facilitating entry and residence procedures, and considering the resumption of Yemen Airways flights to the Kingdom of Bahrain..
Al-Zouba expressed the Yemeni government's appreciation for Bahrain's supportive stance towards the Presidential Leadership Council, the government and state institutions.

She also praised Bahrain's supportive stances in support of Yemen in regional and international forums, especially the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Security Council regarding the Houthi escalation and the threat to international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb.
